How to start PorteuX 0.5 in grafic mode in this PC from the live USB?

Xorg fail to initialize

Usually this message is not a problem:

Code: Select all

(EE) Failed to load module "intel" (module does not exist, 0)
Because nowadays modesetting is replacing Intel driver, which is deprecated AFAIK.

Maybe because your card is too old something is not working properly. You can try to make a module of the Intel driver and put it to load during normal boot (usually inside /porteux/base folder):

stable:
http://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/ ... 6_64-3.txz

Or current:
http://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/ ... 6_64-1.txz

If it doesn't work another possibility is to make a module of mesa (getpkg mesa) and do the same as above.
