slackware tool to show the slack-desc file of a txz package?

I was looking into the slackware tools, if any of these would simply show the slack-desc file of a txz package. At least I found no such option documented in the man pages, e.g. in man installpkg
The only option was to explodepkg the whole package and then look at slack-desc and copy slack-desc to packagename-version.slack-desc
Is there really no option in one of the slackware programs just showing the slack-desc without installing or without extracting the whole package?
Cheers!
Yours Rava
