http://porteus.org/porteus-mirrors.html eg. http://ftp.nluug.nl/os/Linux/distr/port ... x86_64.xzm
that is : nvidia-470.42.01-k.5.12.14 for relatively recent cards @ last five/six years?
legacy drivers for older cards require patching for newer kernels and that's a bit tricky...

Place the downloaded .xzm module into your modules folder or extramod= folder and reboot.

Since this thread not names any main driver versions (the first number before the ".") - e.g. 470, 340 or 304 - here some info on drivers for older hardware.

like, if your hardware is older and needs nvidia-340.108 - the most recent kernel I was able to compile the driver for is 5.4.30.
For nvidia-304.137 newest kernel is 4.16.3. And you need older xorg than the one shipped with Porteus 5.0rc3… =@
So far I did not have the time to try get nvidia-304.137 working with 5.0rc x86-64 Porteus, but I presume it is either impossible or you need to heavily rework the system (002-* and 003*) because some or even most GUI programs are picky with the used xorg version. :(
