How do I mount and share interlink Mail (& News) data between different Port versions

Hi,
what is needed to pull off the following.

I want to mount the interlink Mail (& News) data and share locally between all Porteus.

The current versions are either
001-core.xzm:20210927
002-xorg.xzm:20210927
002-xtra.xzm:20210927
003-xfce4.xzm:20210924
initrd.xz:20200108
with kernel 5.4.30-porteus since that's the newest one where I managed to compile NVidia-driver 010-nvidia-340.108-k.5.4.30-porteus-v5.0-x86_64_rava.xzm

The above is the notebook where the interlink Mail (& News) data is a local folder.

and i586 4.0 Porteus with 3.1 kernel (any newer kernel tested crashed at boot time)

and an either x86-64 4.0 Porteus or a 5.0whatever version still runs, since my older x86-64 dual CPU machines need even an older version of the Nvidia-driver:
according to donald his nvidia-304.137-k.4.16.3-x86_64-don.xzm needs 4.16.3_porteus kernel, that kernel being the newest one where he managed to compile the nvidia-304.137for. Again, according to donald any newer kernel or any Port-version newer than 4.0 x86-64 Porteus will not run with NVidia-304.137 due to a different Xorg that is incompatible with NVidia-304.137.
When donald, who I consider the resident expert when it comes to NV drivers for older hardware (main version 304 or even older) says Port 5.0 won't work with any xorg shipped with newer Port than 4.0 x86-64 final, then me thinks it is like he says.

I have the network cables and an unused LAN-router (I use the Internet by WLAN either via Smartphone USB-tethering or via the PCs own WLAN capability) to create the local network.

The question:
Do Porteus 4.0 i586 and Port 4.0 x86-64 and the most recent 5.0rc? with at least the above quoted versions all ship with all needed software to create and use a LAN among themselves?

Remember, even mc is able to mount and share local network resources, though I never used mc for doing so. I just read so in its documentation when its about opening and browsing resources, like opening ISO files with mc, there its help mentions that LAN can be opened and accessed similar to opening and browsing shared LAN folders.

And tips how to approach my goal?

Please tell me if one or more of my Porteus variants need additional programs, or if the sharing and using of local folders via LAN can be done out of the box.

If so, please either show me a howto or wiki or whatever net resource that explains what I need to do, or list the needed steps yourself.

Any help greatly appreciated. Sadly, I had no use for using and sharing LAN for years, so my LAN skills are really rusty, very rusty. :(

The end goal of course would be to have interling run on more than one of my machines, and be able to access only one folder for all its use, shared among all interlinks via shared local LAN folder.
Cheers!
