Also, my last LO compilation failed again with the same "Fatal exception in interrupt" error as described in my post #12 in this thread. The only difference was, it happened just after about 10 hours compiling, whereas in the previous instance it took place after about 24 hours into compilation. If anyone reading this thread can make any sense out of these LO compilation failures, please contribute your understanding. Unfortunately, at my current level of learning, said compilation error messages are still very cryptic to me.
EDIT: Also, I am very curious as to why LibreOffice (Alien Bob's ver. 6.4.6.2 for Slackware 14.2) works perfectly well in Porteus 4.0 i586 XFCE, but fails to start (with the aforementioned error) in Porteus 4.0 i586 LXDE. Does anyone here with sufficient experience know why? Please contribute your knowledge here. That's how we learn and what makes this forum a very valuable one!
