@Blaze I did what you said and again into a Black screen. All 3 ways did try to start X but they never did.

Thks - but what "new 003-Mate module"? We are talking about my/your own build, not a 003-Mate module, Or do you mean to say this new build, after having changed it into a module in Caja?

BTW - is it important to build your own MATE?

Jack, how about to build a new base with LLVM 7.0.0 and Mesa 18.2.1 and test it?
