tp-link Smart Wi-Fi Plug

My son gave me a tp-link plug for Christmas. And interesting devise but it requires an Apple smart phone to set up. I don't have a smart phone or an Android system. But I do have Porteus. Does anyone have a compiled driver/app I can install that will allow me to access the smart plug and set it up?
