LXDE (Panel Preferences)

I open Panel Preferences then I click on Preferences then this ERROR pop up.

What can I do to fix it?
I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.

"window manager configuration program" sounds like obconf , try installing that, if you havn't got it..

I have lxappearance-obconf install or is this the wrong one?

it's not wrong as such, just not enough since it doesn't cover virtual desktops..
