terminal screen settings [Solved]

Is there a file for terminal display options? The default blue on black for some text is very hard to read. I know I can manually change the settings via Edit > Preferences but I would like the change to carry thru reboots.

hi Ed_P, in preferences you can load a few of preset and if you change the font color you can do as usual save-changes and a xzm so at reboot you have it,well...i think

Yes, that approach would work beny but it would save more than just the terminal tweaks. I have a script that I run that makes an .xzm file of changes I want to keep, it's 15MB at this point, and I would like to add the terminal tweaks to it.

for gnome-terminal in cinnamon, the settings are stored in ~/.config/dconf/user, i believe.

The dconf and gsettings commands might be useful if I knew how to use them.

Regardless, the terminal screen preferences are saved in my changes.xzm and are displayed in my safe boot modes.
