Is there a way to simulate what the boot screen with the selection of possible added or changed entries from boot/syslinux/porteus.cfg will look like?
E.g. :
● is an entry line too long that important info is cut off?
I mean this line
● Does a changed background image look okay with the chosen text colours or is the text partly hard to read?
It would be swell if there was a way
other than actually rebooting for
reviewing how a change in porteus.cfg will look like in the boot screen.
Cheers!

a lazy web search suggests: no. but you can simulate the machine and reboot that. ie. use virtualbox

What search patterns did you use?
My brain could not come up with fitting ones.
Cheers!
