No ethernet connection

I have no network access on my ancient Dell Vostro 1000 with a BCM4401-B0 Ethernet controller -- how can I load the appropriate driver?

hi donald i have seen in modprobe.d no b44 blacklist inside b43 yes

Yep, unblacklist > load the module or reboot if changes are saved.

I've commented the "blacklist b44" line in b43_blacklist.conf and have Ethernet; thanks. Now to try to get the BCM4311 working.
