Blaze, with your vmlinuz in /boot/syslinux, your kernel and 06-crippled_sources-5.16.9-64bit.xzm in /porteus/base, broadcom-sta-6.30.223.271-k5.16.9-x86_64-1bl.xzm in /porteus/modules (rather than b43), and broadcom_blacklist.conf as specified in /etc/modprobe.d, I had no network device (neither BCM4311 nor BCM4401) upon boot. I wasn't sure whether 06-crippled_sources needed to accompany the kernel, so I tried removing it, with the same results.

rchase, do you copy 000-kernel.xzm to /porteus/base too?
