Portix media Center boots to Desktop with all those applications in 13.6 seconds in an old desktop pc with Intel Pentium G620 processor.
Could cut a few seconds with current I3, I5, I7 processors. CPU mitigations are on.
Base and Modules are compressed in ZSTD with Xcompreesion-level 19.
Great little Radio Player has 80 streaming stations. A screenshot of glrp..

conky is placed in optional. Firefox current had many tab crashes (pocket news) . So gone back to v79.0
kodi needs api key, client ID and client secret for youtube. But smtube can fetch youtube and play in sm player. youtube.dl is placed in /guest/bin.

You should introduce your installation on kodi forums. I am sure this would be a hit. The speed of nemesis makes it a great contender to host kodi. Don't you think?
I would be frankly very happy that nemesis could clone into all sorts of flavor. This basic artic-archlinux distribution is very fast and polyvalent.

Now, a preview video for Portix Media Center is available for public viewing.

Tor Browser,Sub Title Editor appearing in menu are not available in the ISO.
I have mistakenly placed .kodi folder in /home/guest/.config. please cut and paste it in /home/guest for using available addons, before starting kodi.

I never use changes option. I change my settings as I want, create a module out of it, install all applications in one go and leave it at that.
Arch libraries/applications are updated frequently, and they will mess with our applications, if we decide to add anything new.
I left APPEND changes=/portix/changes, uncommented in porteus.cfg and should work , if the folder is in ext4 partition. In case of trouble # that line. Thanks.

it seems very promising, i use to boot ventoy method, boot perfectly in two pure efi pc, and run very vell , in an other pc that can use efi and legacy boot , cannot boot nor efi nor legacy , have to try generating a different usb not ventoy based.
what about printing support?
i tried to install xzm modules that works in porteus mate v5 but without success

Porteus Artix(portix) is based on Arch Linux. Slackware based porteus modules will not work.
I do not have a printer and no way of testing for printer support.
However I made a module for printer support. You can test and report.
After booting with portix-printing.xzm, you will have to start printing service and update for rc status.
commands:
and find if printing service is on
Hope this works.

Thanks for your feedback and happy to know that portix-media-center booted flawlessly in your EFI only machines. It works same way in legacy pcs also.

very strange situation , have updated ventoy to last version and with it i can boot without problems now in all my efi pc, but not in legacy boot, ends in black screeen whit this error:failed to load ldlinux.c32
tried to generate a boot usb in different way
1 using create liveusb included in your portix
2 using yumi efi that works normally without problems for all linux distro i have tested
3 using rufus
noone solution works nor bios nor efi
what method do you suggest to create a working usb in bios and in efi?
ah tried also to boot directly iso file in virtualbox as livecd without success, the same in qemutester.
for the moment the only solution is use your iso in ventoy usb and it works as expected but only in efi boot
ah tried also to redownload iso file this time from mediafire ( that now works again)( in case it was corrupt) compared the two files ( one from mediafire , the other from mega.nz) and crc 32 and sha 256 are identical so it cannot be the problem.
