Porteus

It seems that some porteus 4.0 modules work out of the box for nemesis. Here are a few:
- web browsers in general: chromium, firefox, palemoon etc.
- libreoffice

I'm playing around with aggressive compiler flags now. I've just built 4.12 from scratch using these flags. It's very experimental (and it doesn't come with whiskermenu nor poppler-data), but if you want to give it a try, here it goes: https://www.mediafire.com/file/jw4v7z30 ... 201225.xzm

perhaps.. depends on a few factors..
one of the main differences between slackware and arch/artix is that /usr/lib64 is a symlink to /usr/lib, so any slackware compiled libs would overwrite that, which may or may not be a problem.. for something..
another is whether dependent libs present in nemesis are version compatible with what is required by the slackware(what version?) compiled packages..
there would be i imagine, some things missing: eg. gvfs and udisks are in porteus 002-xorg, in nemesis they're in 003
