Yesterday, I've noticed that my boot partition had no name... Then, this morning suddenly reappeared and Whisker Menu behaves normally.
Maybe something related to this:

I'm tempted to migrate to Openbox with tint2+jgmenu+rofi as semantic launcher. Then the newer XFCE 4.14, provides for a cool implementation like evergreen has shown in Ignis.
