Bundles: what approach to use? A big one, secated into smaller ones?

Yet I have tried to come with a modular approach to build the desktop environment under nemesis-artix (arch derivative). Once the first module is build, there is often conflicting files, whereas building a one and only module seems to work without problems. Would there be a method to cut or secate the big module into smaller pieces, once it has been built?
