@fullmoonremix
"Fifth" web browser (created by an Opera dev) uses... FLTK webkit
Now from the github link you gave for the 'fifth' browser:
Webkit1 will be used. While the multi-process model of Webkit2 is indeed
more secure, it also brings both CPU and RAM overhead.
Also the price for lightweight (or not) is:
No native video support.
SVG will be supported by calling out to rsvg-convert, no native support.
WebGL will not be supported.
Web fonts will not be supported.
That's fine and it is the kind of browser I would use, but I'm afraid it is not for the majority. Thanks.
How do i become super user?

Salutations...
That's fine and it is the kind of browser I would use, but I'm afraid it is not for the majority. Thanks.
It's meant for users that prefer a spawning browser ("byob" style? aka... bring your own browser) using external apps.
You are absolutely correct. ... "Fifth" suffers from a major haircut (feature wise). That... probably explains it's high performance.
The dev's roadmap in regard to Webkit (over 1yr ago)...
Ideally, a new Webkit port to a light toolkit such as FLTK will be made.
That statement was quite some time ago. The review commentaries imply that they switched.
Best Regards...

@brokenman or fanthom:
Is there a list of the packages or applications for the slackware kde4 under porteus? I would almost directly adopt it under nemesis.

Suggestions regarding KDE:
- install kmix
- turn compositor off (much better performance even with newer hardware and you get rid of transparency for better readability)
- more kmap selection (kxkbrc needs to be edited in the KDE module)
- install kate (editor is necessary, ok, mc does the job but is not for everyone)
