I just install Cinnamon on a 32gb USB and so far I like what I see. In the next few days I will test it. I will get back what I find. Thanks for your build.
I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.

Copy the screenshot to https://postimages.org/ or some other image hosting site and post the link here.

Good to see you back Jack. :)

:o Looks like a browser problem cause I don't see that. Does it occur on other forums? What browser are you using?

yep, netsurf is pretty basic.
to get firefox a firefox module, you can:
A. use the module from standard porteus. (there's a prebuilt one on any of our server mirrors)
or
B. use the command: (all comands below as root)

Code: Select all

pmod firefox
(pmod is an alias for "pman -Sw")
but first: do setup-pman, if you haven't already.
NOTE: nemesis is way overdue for an update, so the firefox version will be old, because the default repo mirrors are set to the 'frozen' archive repos, to prevent conflicts and breakages..
you can, however, use command: mirrorlist-toggle (then pacman -Sy) to change to the present day repos, just to get the latest firefox, then i'd recommend toggling back to the frozen archive for other stuff..
