Hi everyone,

My first post here! I'm pretty sure this will be a simple answer but I'm stumped so grateful for any advice.

Our Library Kiosk loads this page: https://www.brunel.ac.uk/life/library/kiosk
And this is our config file: https://www.brunel.ac.uk/life/library/d ... config.txt

Everything on the page works except for "Password Portal". The url for the Password Portal page is https://pwreset.brunel.ac.uk/default.aspx, which exists in the config, but when we click the page from the Kiosk screen, we are getting the following message:



Is this what would normally display if something isn't whitelisted correctly (as I initially thought) or is there something else going on here?

Hello Roland,

I believe the problem is that kiosk is not able to resolve the IP address of 'pwreset.brunel.ac.uk' domain.

Please use this parameter as a workaround:
https://porteus-kiosk.org/parameters.ht ... me_aliases

Thanks for this - I think I understand. So, for my example I would just need the following as an additional line in the config?

hostname_aliases=myipaddress pwreset.brunel.ac.uk

Update on this - we still haven't managed to get it working.

If there is anything else that anyone can suggest we try, I'd be forever grateful.
