We have started to notice this popup in the top right corner of version 4.9.0 running Chrome. I have tried to add a proxy to stop it, but it seems that it's coming directly from Chrome.
Does anyone have any idea to stop this annoying popup?

Hello Max_Power,
Fix has been pushed to 4.9.0 release.
Please download the ISO again and reinstall your kiosks in order to get rid of the Chrome update notification.
Thanks

Ryan,
You need to reinstall full ISO as fix is implemented in the system and not the Chrome module.
Thanks

i download the latest version kioskproteus 4.9.0 and do not find change.
so i guess the kioskproteus 4.9.0 do not solve the issue.
do you have kioskproteus 4.9.1 for downloading or other high version.
which part have been change that solve the issue.
i download kioskproteus 4.9.0 is generated by Porteus Kiosk version 20190825, Do not find new kioskproteus for downloading.

Note the "
reinstall full ISO" part. Have you done that?
Are you downloading the Porteus-Kiosk-4.9.0-x86_64.iso from the official Kiosk website?

https://porteus-kiosk.org/public/4.9/Po ... x86_64.iso which exits 1 month ago.
if i download the iso again, i think it can not change anything with last moth downloading the Porteus-Kiosk-4.9.0-x86_64.iso.
where to download the Porteus Kiosk version 20191027. i want to know which module solve the issue and i need see the change example version.

Ryan,
I sometimes push fixes to full releases (4.9.0) without bumping system version number (as it would require changelog, announcement, etc).
Please check MD5sum and you'll notice that its different from the older ISO:
https://porteus-kiosk.org/public/4.9/md5sum
"where to download the Porteus Kiosk version 20191027"
You would need to subscribe your kiosks to a paid service in order to receive regular system updates:
https://porteus-kiosk.org/automatic-updates.html
Thanks
