Hi, I am a new user and am looking to use the kiosk ver 4.7.0 for a public kiosk where the public can only access specific sites specified by me. I can do this using the whitelist function, but this list changes periodically and it would be great if I could run the start up wizard and edit the list rather than have to do the entire installation all over including reentering all the allowed sites. There are a lot of allowed sites.

It would also be very helpful if I could copy and paste into the whitelist entry box from a list on a USB drive, or load/import the list directly from a text file on a USB drive.

Having to re-type the hundreds of allowed sites each time is not something I want to do every time the list changes.

If there is already a way to do this, I would greatly appreciate more info on how to do it.

Hello Tom,

There are many possibilities to avoid going through the whole wizard setup during every kiosk installation.

1) Please use remote management function:

You'll have to create your kiosk config only once, then you can upload it to some web storage and point new kiosk installations to it.

2) If for some reason remote management cant be used then please upload your kiosk config to your web email and then copy it directly to the final settings window in the wizard:

3) You can also load kiosk config directly from the usb device. Here is the video how to save the config, loading works in similar way:

Thank you for the very fast reply. I was having difficulty using the save ISO image feature. It seems that you have to browse to the location you want to save to, even if it is the same as the default specified, in order to get it to work. Without that the ISO wasn't being saved to my USB drive.

1) Unfortunately we can't use the remote management as it is on a different network for security reasons.

2) and 3) Now that I have managed to save the config and the ISO to a USB I can load them and not have to enter everything.
