File Manager + VLC

Good day,
I am building a custom kiosk iso, which will serve as public productivity “workstations”. What I am planning to do is set up the kiosk in a way which will allow users to browse the web, and perform light productivity tasks. So far, I have modified the “thin client” edition to run WPS office. This works perfectly, as I have sourced the .xzm from the official porteus Linux mirror. The challenge I am facing however, is implementing a functional file manager (to allow users to move file from download/documents to a USB drive). I have tried both nautilus and pcmanfm, but have not managed to get either of these to launch successfully. I have built the .xzm modules using USM in porteus Linux, but the modules won’t run on the kiosk version. I was wondering whether anyone could point me in the right direction, and provide me with a download link to an xzm or explain to me the steps required to build my own modules which are functional. Once I have mastered this task, I will procede to doing the same for vlc Media Player.
Thanks in advance
