Hello,
Having successfully tested a Porteus Kiosk, and configured it to connect to wifi, I have been disappointed to have wifi connectivity issues today as I placed the machine in a production environment.
We use ubiquity Wifi (Mesh), and it appears as though the kiosk will connect to one AP, but if I shutdown, and move the PC to another location, boot up, it will not connect to another AP. (Same network, same SSID etc).
I'm wondering if something is being stored in DNS? Or is it a misconfigured Ubiquity setup?
I would welcome suggestions!
Thank you,
Richard.
Wifi connection to Ubiquity - only 1 AP allowed?

Richard,
If SSID and password are the same then kiosk should automatically connect to first AP found.
Thanks

Thank you.
That's what I thought. I fear we have some poorly configured ubiquity aps.
Regards
Richard.
