another command to trash files is gvfs-trash, but it doesn't "remember" path of deleted file.

EDIT:
But Lxqt probably also doesn't support restore function, you can drag from Trash and drop.

to enable delete instead of trash:
in pcmanfm-qt, go to Edit/Preferences/Behavior/File Operations,
uncheck 'Move deleted files to "trash bin" in of erasing from disk'

This works for me, now files are deleted directly without being send to trash. However, right clicking on trash box, triggers «empty trash» menu, clicking on it gives error message:

Code: Select all

Failed to delete the item from the trash
The trash box will not empty. :x

if you are deleting a file directly, there shouldn't be anything in 'trash' to empty ;)

You are right, and I had concluded that already. It is more a question of logic for me. What is the use of the empty trash option? Maybe it is just that I am not familiar with lxde. In addition, I do not understand logically why information in the autostart folder (@leafpad) will not start the leafpad program at boot up without using the guiexec cheatcode.

Please acknowledge that I appreciate very much your expertise.
