Something to consider, please.

Hi
I'd tried many Porteus versions, the most common problem is Opera. It showed wrong color with every window manager.
Your KDE is the best I experienced. But it's still unstable as others. When I did something wrong such as double wrong click, all the window tabs in the panel disappeared. But I found them again after I had created another panel.
I like the customized feature of Porteus very much. This can't be found in other Linux distro perhaps. I think Dolphin is the best DM. and XFCE is the best WM. So is it possible to have this combination? KDE is very powerful but too much for me and it's unstable. And it's a pity that VLC is not available. Let the user choose multimedia player will be a great choice also.
And if Porteus can be installed by Grub4Dos method it will save a lot of time to experience many variants of Porteus.
That should be all.
Best regard,
The Last Saviour

@last saviour: Welcome.

You should make one thread by topic and be clear in the subject heading, see:

Opera. It showed wrong color Is it the only software with this type of behaviour?

KDE is the best I experienced... ...did something wrong such as double wrong click, all the window tabs in the panel disappeared It would be good that your reproduce that behaviour, and give it step by step. I imagine that you just deleted the panel altogether.

Dolphin is the best DM. and XFCE is the best WM... You have to choose the best desktop given its advantages to you. Then if you want to add another file manager, or any other type of packages: webbrowser, audio, video, have a look at usm package manager (for example for vlc, I use smplayer on kde and there is nothing that vlc could do better).

Also google is your friend with keywords: porteus grub4dos.
