install and run open-vm-tools

Hi,
I am trying to install open-vm-tools in the Kiosk 4.9 version. It seems like the package may have been used in the default build but I am not seeing any binaries on the file system and no way to actually make sure the tools are running on boot. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
