Using Porteus Kiosk for monitoring video from Hikvision NVR - have a problem

Hi!
I've decided to use Porteus Kiosk on ALL-IN-ONE PC ASUS EE TOP PC (touchscreen) for monitoring video from cameras. Main idea:
1. Connect computer to router via cable.
2. Mount Porteus on PC HDD with next settings: white list with one NVR's ip adress only.

I mount system but have several troubles:
1.I don't see video. How I can add special browser plugin in Firefox during mounting Porteus or it's impossible?
2. How I can enable virtual keyboard? Every time after restarting PC I need to input login and password. So, I whant see keyboard when I click on login and pass field.
3. Can Porteus save login and passwords?

Thanks.

Hello Makov,

1) You'll need a customized build with VLC added to be able to view video streams:
https://porteus-kiosk.org/builds.html

2) You could follow forum threads to remaster the ISO and add virtual keyboard addons/extension:
[Solved] Adding extensions to Chrome
Browser Extension with Firefox Porteus 4.6

3) See here:

Thank you.

fanthom,
about 1) double post Как настроить Porteus для просмотра видео с камер
hikvision provides only a NPAPI plugin and seems Makov need to install Mozilla Firefox ESR version for able to monitoring video from cameras. But one thing WebComponents comes only for Windows > http://ftp.hikvision.ru/09.%20%D0%A3%D1 ... omponents/
But seems VLC solved this issue.

BTW, how about to use Pale Moon browser?

Was this problem ever solved? Pale Moon does not work as it is missing the plug in.

@danharner
We ended up using dedicated app instead of the browser in 32bit custom build:

Thanks
