When all the files and modifications are assembled... before make_iso.sh, can the homepage be modified? Where is that setting from the config wizard written?

I discovered this has been addressed, to an extent, in this thread:

Change kiosk_config without need to rebuild ISO

Unfortunately, it appears it cannot be done without a backchannel.

If you are using Firefox then you should be able to force your homepage in $firefox_profie/user.js as it takes priority over $firefox_profie/prefs.js which is normally edited by the wizard.
Never tested this myself.
