Porteus

Hi, I want to know is it possible to run my custom nodejs app by default after booting and also use some other pre-installed apps like libre office? How to do this?
Can I install nodejs right on Porteus Kiosk distro or can I just compile my nodejs app as linux executable file and run it on Porteus Kiosk on startup?
