Porteus

Hi,

I am trying to make a kiosk.iso with a few modifications to the 003-settings.xzm file. I have completed all the steps but when i use the ISO the system boots but never gets passed the initial 'loading' screen i.e. the wizard never pops up and i am left staring at the porteus kiosk logo. Any ideas?

process:
- mount and copy iso files to dir
- unsquashfs settings file
- make changes
- mksquashfs files to new settings file
- make_iso.sh
- isohybrid
- burn to USB

Perhaps files/foders permissions are incorrect? They must have following ownership: 1000:1000 if guest user supposed to read them.
Please create separate module rather than editing base ones and add single file to it. If that works then add more modifications.

Thank-you. Using a separate xzm file with the modified files did the trick.
