Isohybrid where? [SOLVED]

Here you can post about the issues related to modifications performed manually (not through the kiosk wizard). Example: swapped kernel, added 3rd party modules or files.
Please describe in detail what has been changed and hopefully other kiosk user will be able to help.
Porteus team wont resolve bugs posted in this category as we support only modifications made by the kiosk wizard.

Isohybrid where? [SOLVED]

Post#1 by Dave99 » 27 Dec 2014, 18:35

Hi all

In one of the help pages for Porteus, it mentions that one should run isohybrid to put iso on a USB stick.
How to burn the ISO on non-optical storage media

In the case that you want to burn the kiosk on usb stick or hard drive then you have to convert it to the 'hybrid' ISO mode. Please install 'syslinux' (or 'isolinux') package
on your favorite linux distro and issue following command:

isohybrid /tmp/Porteus-Kiosk.iso
I tried the 'syslinux' package from the slackware repository and still no such thing as isohybrid command.

Where do I get isohybrid from?

Thanks in advance.
Dave.
