How do I add a module/application and provide the OS via PXE

Hi there. First post. I'm just learning about Porteus and am particularly interested in Kiosk to boot a minimal OS on client machines via PXE and have firefox automatically go to our Citrix XenDesktop 7 Storefront web address. Kind of like a PXE Linux Thin Client. It seems Porteus Kiosk is perfect for the job! I've got the kiosk running off a USB flash drive via the kiosk wizard, and I've read the post titled "HOWTO Set up PXE server for Porteus Kiosk edition" so i'm on the right path there. But i will need to have Citrix Receiver installed in Porteus Kiosk in order for it to be able to hit the VDI. Is it possible to install Citrix Receiver and get the resultant environment available via a PXE boot?

I've searched around for documentation and forum posts that would show me how to get Receiver installed and in the PXE "load" but so far have come up with nothing. If possible can someone point me in the right direction to learn how this is done?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome Johnny,

Porteus is based on slackware. Installing citrix on porteus (or slackware):

More info on customizing kiosk (faq):

Alas, I am not very good at kiosk, and you will surely have some help from kiosk users if you are a little patient and industrious. People will surely come to help you troubleshoot the thing. :)
