Unsquash 003-settings.xzm leaves me without home directory

I downloaded the Porteus Kiosk 4.6.0 ISO, and unpacked it.

But if I unsquashfs the 003-settings.xzm file, I have no home directory in squashfsroot and therefore can't customize firefox.
I'm running squashfs on Ubuntu 17.10 if this does matter.

Any help is appreciated.

/home/guest/.mozilla is a hidden folder - perhaps this is what's confusing you?
Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.

That I am, aware of, but there is no home folder at all, checked with ls -lah.

As I needed to roll out fast I, tried my luck with the 32-bit legacy edition (3.7) and there the home folder was there as expected.

I am not at my Linux PC right now, I'll come back later and show you guys the differences.
