[Solved] Directory Applet Can't Open Unless Thunar Opens First

i have a Directory panel applet pointing to an external partition.
on boot, the folders don't show up in the applet.
but, if i open same partition in Thunar before opening the applet, then the folders load into the applet correctly.
i can see the partition is mounted, so i don't think that's the problem.
any fix?
Update: seems that something i did made the mount-point name change, and that's why it failed to load.
So it seem ok for now!
