Hello. So im booting my ext4 formatted usb porteus and it is in text mode, altho i installed the gui version. Atm i can login through the terminal etc but is there a cmd or some other way to display the graphic interface.

Did you try graphic mode? It is peculiar that you drop into text mode if you have selected graphic mode in the menu when buying porteus.
In text mode, the startx command should lead you into graphic mode.
