[Solved] /home/guest/.cache/thumbnails/normal folder growth

Is there a cheatcode or Porteus option to limit the contents of this folder? It just keeps on growing in my save.dat file, currently 25.6 MB with files going back to May. :x

Xviewer is putting them there, :x not sure if anything else. Don't see any option to limit the cache size in Xviewer.

Or a Porteus option to not save the cache in porteussave.dat file.

Have you already looked into the /etc/changes-exit.conf?
Looks promising... B)

A promising option indeed :worthy: donald.

I use to use that file at some point, maybe 3.1 or 3.2, then stopped because something changed and I didn't need to. Thanks for the reminder. I've added this to it.

Code: Select all

!/home/guest/.cache/thumbnails/normal
I wouldn't mind keeping 1MB of thumbnails but 25+ was ridiculous.
