Running as root or guest? View as Icons, Detailed List or Compact List?
For which file(s)? All the time or sometimes? Please give example(s).

Running as root,
View as Detailed List,
Show hidden files,
For which file(s) = any files,

This happened sometimes, I don't know yet what actually trigger it.

Can you try another mouse?
That would show whether it's not the mouse's fault.
-- maybe there is some dirt inside or the micro-switches are defective.

Hi,
This happened to me on my laptop and a few desktop, using different mouse.

I would dare to say it is not mouse's fault.

The next time you see this happen:
-- make a note of the full path of the pertinent file;
-- reboot and check whether the symptom happens for that file again;
-- reboot in "Always Fresh" mode and check whether the symptom happens for that file again;
-- report back stating the full path of the pertinent file, whether or not that file is modified/created by you, and the results of the two tests.
:D
