more like, look in /mnt/live/memory/images for 1. save.dat, 2. flash installed in it..
then maybe warn that it needs to be decompressed(or loop mounted), remove the relevent files and recompressed ...
or possibly do it, maybe via a supplementary script 'savedatmanager' that would:
1.find the physical location of the save.dat
2.mount or extract
3.remove the offending files/package
4.recompress(or unmount)
5.overwrite the original
6.prompt to reboot (with clean save.dat)

yeah, no. it's not, as bogomips says, update scripts for some(frequently updated) things and usm for (almost)everything else..
or usm for everything if desired.. (tho dont forget that update-<browser> includes the porteus ddg search which generates income)
one great thing about these update-live scripts is they live on the server, so brokenman can tweek them without having to push updates to us...
