[SOLVED] How to avoid "Welcome Porteus" message ?

It is not a bug, it maybe a design of the porteus.
But I really want to know a solution for this.

I add a cheatcode "toroot" , but it does not work.
Actually I use little bit old x-window module which I use with slax v6.xx.
When I use 002-xorg.xzm (which is included), "toroot" work fine.

When I use my old x-window(002-xorg-xxx.xzm),
the green colored welcome message always appears.
so, I enter "root" and "toor" ,and enter startx;telinit.. x-window will start without problem.

Please advice!

you cant replace porteus modules from /base (especially 000, 001 and 002 shouldn't be touched by the users) with your own ones and expect that everything will work
We do not support this kind of swaps.
please re-post this message in "Unsupported Software" and provide a link to your modified 002-xorg module. I'll have a look on it when i find some free time.
(stuff in Unsupported Software has lower priority)

Cheers

Since you're able to get in with starx, I'm guessing your problem revloves around etc/rc.d/rc.4 (assuming you're still using autoexec=telinit~4 in your cheatcodes).

Check that script to make sure that script exists and is calling the proper display manager.
