Porteus

Cannot auto login from CD. Everything the same from disk on key and start OK
I use porteus 3.1 32-bit KDE "login=root" and when I strat from USB everything is OK, but if i start from CD it does not start KDE and I must make login and write "startx"

@injector: you have to burn the cd with the right grubloader instructions in /boot/syslinux/porteus.cfg file :APPEND initrd=initrd.xz changes=/porteus login=root

OK, I get it. Maybe you can try this to include and build a new iso:
http://porteus-kiosk.org/kiosk-customization.html

It should work for porteus desktop with some little adaptation. If you do not get it to run, let us know.
