usm -u all not working in 64bits

Hi, I have a problem in the 64bit version, I open the console, use

Code: Select all

su
for super user and use

Code: Select all

usm -u all
it updates correctli until the slackware package, the last file it give an error and it cant update, I have tried some other compilations of porteus but only in 32 bit version it works.The file dont downloads, and so I cant install any program. I have tried in 2 pcs, the same error, one notebook and one desktop. Help me please because the 32 bits version runs good but i will go to a friends home and other pcs on they have more then 4Gb of ram.
PD: the usb stick has ext4 format.

Open the file /etc/usm/mirrors-slackware.txt

Comment out (put a # at the start of the line) the uncommented slackware repository. Uncomment a repository close to your country.

Thanks, finaly it works, comenting the US server it works with no problem.

I have the same problem, but the repositories close to my country aren't working as well

Then you will need to try a reliable mirror. Perhaps try one in the US or Germany which are always stable for me.

It doesn't work. Am i missing something ?
Do i have to do something else before updating ?

Did your read all the thread? Please do the following:

Open the file /etc/usm/mirrors-slackware.txt
Comment out (put a # at the start of the line) the uncommented slackware repository. Uncomment a repository close to your country.


If there is something unclear in these instructions, ask for additonal information.

I did it, and tried with several repositories (one by one), but i always get the same problem :

There was a problem downloading the file: 
Note that usm don't give me any file after the colons. :/

Are you using a changes cheatcode? If so please try in fresh mode to try to isolate the problem.

I already tried with the fresh mode, but i have the same problem.
