cannot configure file sharing on porteus V09

Hello, I would like to share a folder on my home network, so I go to properties, share, configure file sharing, but it say that I need authorization to share although I am root. and every option are unavailable.

So what do I have to do to share file to the media center of the TV for example?

Do you use a guest account ?

Please post more info , can you report the result of ssinfo ?

i dont trust any GUI configurators ( ) so would start from /etc/samba/smb.conf. For some unknown reason i find this file empty (even in slax-6.1.2)
please grab sample config file from this package:
http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/ftp.slackw ... i486-1.tgz
and adjust for your needs.
