[Solved] v1.2 LXDE doesn't remember Volume Settings

Post#1 by Abhishek » 16 Jul 2012, 21:31

Hi,

I have observed that the v1.2 LXDE version sound mixer (alsamixer) doesn't restore my last set volume levels across reboots.
I am already using save.dat for saving changes. The KDE version (kmixer) properly saves the volume settings every time.
Not really sure if this is a bug or am I missing something. Pls. suggest.

After you have set your volume where you would like it in alsamixer, please run 'alsactl store' from a terminal, and it should save it between reboots.
Please take a look at our online documentation, here. Suggestions are welcome!
