libmspack and wxwidget cannot be activated at boot

Hi,

I can not remember which module has generate this but at boot there is two xzm than can not be activated at boot.
It was written (just after the error message saying the module can not be activated) => corrupted download

To be clear I just installed Proteus on a ext4.
Then I tried to install some needed packages and it told me there was a new Package Manager (asked me to install = yes) then I asked to install those needed programs :
libreoffice
transmission
filezilla
gimp
gutenprint (the first because there are two same name in the package manager)
imagemagick (did not appear in the K menu - those two modules does maybe come from this program)
strigi
conky
truecrypt (do not start when click on the menu icon)
hardinfo (do not start when click on the menu icon)

And for both libmspack and wxwidgets I removed them from my /proteus/modules and get it back by using the Package Manager but when I asked them to asctivate it now they both give me back the error message : Some error occured while activating the module.

How to solve those two not activated modules ?

Sincerely thanks and have a nice day,

Miguipda ;-)

Thanks for the bug report.

Please give the output of:
ls /mnt/live/memory/images

Also please find the modules that give you an error during activation (They will be in your chosen module storage folder) and see what size they have using: du -sh /path/to/trouble/module.xzm

Those 4K files are probably 404 error pages downloaded from the server. Please download the modules manually from the Porteus server

I would also recommend looking in the testing folder for the latest Porteus rc2 which is available. Many updates were made.

Dear brokenman,

you maybe right. It must come frome the 404 error page due to the fact there is no limspack and wxwidget on your given link. Then if the Package Manager goes there to download them it will be normal those both programs are not activated normally.

Please see it with the package manager in the given link (and the link where the Package Manager goes otherwise other clients will have the same problem.
For me I will wait you answer to see which solution didi you find with the package folder manager.

Sincerely thanks for your attention on this problem.

Have a nice day,

Miguipda ;-)

Hi,

does somebody tell me where could I now find the both files which make this problem ?
As explained I can not find those two files in the given path.

I will wait your answer but I also presume you must fix it in the package manager.

Sincerely thanks for your help.

Have a nice day,

Miguipda ;-)
