x86_64/Porteus-v5.0 vs i586/Porteus-v5.0 updates

There seems to be quite the difference how updates are uploaded to the mirrors between x86_64/Porteus-v5.0 vs i586/Porteus-v5.0

I choose http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/porteus/ as mirror

I just downloaded the i586 updates also via

Code: Select all

wget -c --no-parent --recursive http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/porteus/i586/Porteus-v5.0/updates/core/
and realized the below

When looking in how updates are found in x86_64/Porteus-v5.0 I see that http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/porteus/x86_6 ... /20220924/ has the most recent updates…

but for i586/Porteus-v5.0
http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/porteus/i586/ ... /20220924/
is empty

Code: Select all

while in http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/porteus/i586/ ... ates/core/
there are many files to be found I presume all should have been in http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/porteus/i586/ ... /20220924/ instead:

I checked other mirrors.
E.g. with https://linux.rz.rub.de/porteus/ it's the same
https://linux.rz.rub.de/porteus/i586/Po ... /20220924/ is empty

and https://linux.rz.rub.de/porteus/i586/Po ... ates/core/ has files that are presumably meant to be in /20220924/ (no quote / code this time, look it up yourself)

I also realized the server-side mime type for this file is set wrong:

Update
in http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/porteus/i586/ ... pdates.txt the md5sums of the files are listed as if they were in the /20220924/ subfolder.

Added in 2 minutes 53 seconds:
I also do not find a md5sums text file for the files in here: http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/porteus/i586/ ... 0/modules/
Same is true with this mirror: https://linux.rz.rub.de/porteus/i586/Po ... 0/modules/

Added in 8 minutes 49 seconds:
Therefore can someone please confirm these md5sums from
i586/Porteus-v5.0/modules/

Code: Select all

yup, not a mirror issue as such, something was messed up in the upload process, a fix is in the works, thanks for reporting

all match with my originals .. i'll look into arranging to have a chksum text placed on the server for the files in these folders..
will probably move to using sha256sum to eliminate chance of collisions..
