hi the porteus 5-rc3 with the 5.12.14 porteus kernel have the firmware inside:
/run/media/root/287dc23a-2a41-486d-8b5c-7b4fad7f2cf3/Porteus-XFCE-v5.0rc3-x86_64/porteus/base/squashfs-root/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-QuZ-a0-hr-b0-62.ucode
the porteus 5 with the 5.18.8-porteus don't have this file,have another version of iwlwifi,you can bring the file from rc3 and put inside the firmware directory of the porteus 5 or download the kernel-firmware package from the slackware15 repository and make a xzm package so you don't have trouble with hardware,but is a big package.

YES, Porteus-CINNAMON-v5.0-x86_64 with /porteus/base/kernel-firmware-20220124_eb8ea1b-noarch-1.xzm has Internet!
