Is there a cheatcode or Porteus option to limit the contents of this folder? It just keeps on growing in my save.dat file, currently 25.6 MB with files going back to May.

Xviewer is putting them there,

not sure if anything else. Don't see any option to limit the cache size in Xviewer.
Or a Porteus option to not save the cache in porteussave.dat file.

Have you already looked into the /etc/changes-exit.conf?
Looks promising...

A promising option indeed
donald.
I use to use that file at some point, maybe 3.1 or 3.2, then stopped because something changed and I didn't need to. Thanks for the reminder. I've added this to it.
Code: Select all
!/home/guest/.cache/thumbnails/normal
I wouldn't mind keeping 1MB of thumbnails but 25+ was ridiculous.
