So, the script above is getpkg?
no, it is not (getmod a
symlink to getpkg)
the script beny posted is babam's precursor to what is now slapt-mod (both wrappers for slapt-get) (neither of which may or may not work sufficiently for any number of reasons)
to save some pain: here's the latest pysolfc(and deps) in module form:
pysolfc-3.4-x86_64-alldesktops-1.xzm
(only for 5.1 alpha*)

So, what do you suggest we use for downloading and building modules, apps + dependencies, in 5.1 alpha 2?? slapt-mod, gslapt, slapt-get, getmod or getpkg??
Added in 22 hours 53 minutes 49 seconds:
Is the main difference between the 5.01 and 5.1 alpha slapt-mod apps the /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc file.
[Porteus 5.0's USM replacement] getmod: A wrapper for slapt-get to build modules (Post by Ed_P #92369)
BTW Trouble posting this with porteus again.

Yesterday I had to revert to Windows.
