Hello!
I've tried to install Porteus Kiosk to an Atom based Intel Stick STK1A32SC (http://ark.intel.com/ru/products/91064/ ... -STK1A32SC).
Everything works except HDMI audio output.
Is there any possibility to add support HDMI audio for this device?
I suppose that kernel path can help, but how can I apply it for Porteus Kiosk? (https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/ ... 89050.html)

Will Intel Core M3 Stick STK2m364CC better solution? (http://ark.intel.com/ru/products/91981/ ... STK2M364CC)
Is STK2m364CC hardware fully supported by Porteus Kiosk?

Hello samelent,

"Everything works except HDMI audio output."
This is known issue with CherryTrail hardware. I'm against including 3rd patches in official ISO so we must wait once it gets mainlined.

I can provide kiosk kernel config so you could apply this patch yourself and recompile the kernel:
http://www.porteus.org/component/conten ... ernel.html
If you are interested then please email me on support@porteus-kiosk.org

I can bet it will have the same problem - no HDMI audio.

Next kiosk release is scheduled for September. I'll try to push 4.7.x kernel to it but cant guarantee that HDMI issue will be resolved as it depends on upstream).

Thank you.
