I created a porteus folder in both my web server & tftp server and copied contents of iso to them.
My pxe menu for loading;
KERNEL /porteus/boot/vmlinuz
APPEND initrd=/porteus/boot/initrd.xz,/porteus/boot/pxelinux.cfg/initrdpxe.xz http_server=192.168.23.253
Thanks Michael

Re: HTTP wget http error
Hell Michael,
a) please boot kiosk using USB stick on the client PC
b) enter http server IP address (192.168.23.253) in the browser URL bar
c) make sure you can see unpacked kiosk ISO directly on the screen (not in any subfolder).

Re: HTTP wget http error
Hi Fanthom,
I moved the files to the root of my web server (from the porteus directory)
and tested, worked fine thanks.
Can it not be in a directory of its own?
I just like to keep things neat and tidy
eg;
I have the website, then sub-directory's for
Ipxe files and image's
winpe files and image's
utility images
and common file downloads
bty -
I am planing on using a web based Point Of Sale
system in porteus, is there any way it can just print
the recipt (without poping up a printer window, and then clicking print)?
Thank you very much for your help

Re: HTTP wget http error
"Can it not be in a directory of its own?"
That would make the 'http_server=' parameter bit confusing. Maybe you could setup virtual host on a different port just for the kiosk ISO? Example:
http_server=192.168.1.15:8000
"is there any way it can just print the recipt (without poping up a printer window, and then clicking print)?"
Try 'silent printing' feature in the wizard.
